Why do I want to be a vet?

Your dream job when you were child …

When I was child wanted to be Vet or Dentist, I practiced playing take care my animals. My love for animals was a child, I always had many pets and many types. Also astronaut, I dreamed with go to the stars and see the planet from sky. My options have always been associate with the science and biology.


Other career options that you had and what made you decide to be a vet …

The end of high school I decided study Agronomy, but the animals are my passion and I want to help. I changed of career and now I study  Medicine Veterinary.

  

 Your experience at university until now …

My experience this time at university has been very nice, because I meet new friends and good people. Principally I acquire knowledge for my career. I am very happy, I study hard to be a good animal doctor someday :).
 

The kind of job you would like to have ...


I would like have a veterinary clinic. I would also like to dedicate big animals, like a horses. And investigation scientific.

My life's main e vents

1993

In 1999 it was my first school year in kindergarten, in "Países bajos", then in 2000 between a first year of basic education in Colegio Madre Vicencia.










2009


In 2009 I started my secondary education in Santa Cecilia School, and in 2010 traveled to Camboriú, Brazil for my study tour.


2010

At Christmas in 2010, Miki he arrived to our hearts, accompany a watchdog, Martin. They were great companions and learned many of his tricks.

2011
I finish my studies in high school in 2011, full of joy to end this long and beautiful stage of my life.










2012


I studied in preuniversitary. Came into my life my little white joy, Nikita. Who come to fill the home with happiness and love. Unfortunately at the end of the year my beloved Martin left us, and now take care of we from heaven.


2013


2013 I started my study in Agronomy at the University of Chile. However, I was not happy with the degree, so I decided to follow what I always wanted to be a veterinarian.









2014

2014 I started study Veterinary, in Favet, and today I am very happy about the decision I took.



2015

In February 2015 trip for northern Chile and south-east of Perú.

My favorite Gadget

This last time my favorite gadget is my tablet, is pink and white , it was my birthday gift. With it I study for my tests, watch many movies , listen to music and also play the game of my favorite series "The Simpsons" where have my own Springfield.


My phone is also very useful , although not as modern performs its functions , although more than once makes me lose my head . It has WathsApp keeps me in touch with my classmates and friends and also Candy Crush to play if I'm bored on the way to my house. And very important, I can check my emails from my phone . 

But when I was child I loved gadget "Virtual Pet" I amused feeding and caring mascot elegy, also reset the game with a small instrument when my pet was not growing as I wanted jajaja.

1. What's been the role of climate change in the development of humans?

Rapid increase in brain size. Human brain size evolved most rapidly during a time of dramatic climate change. Larger, more complex brains enabled early humans of this time period to interact with each other and with their surroundings in new and different ways. As the environment became more unpredictable, bigger brains helped our ancestors survive.



2. In your opinion, what is the most significant milestone for the human evolution? Why?
In my opinion the most significant milestone of human evolution is use of tools to cut, pound, crush and access new food- including meat from large animals, and made more stronger.

Australopithecus africanus.



4. Who were the first human species to travel to and live in Europe? When?
Homo heidelbergensis, about 700,000 to 200,000 years ago.



5. Which species survived for the longest time? For how long?
Homo erectus, between about 1.89 million and 143,000 years ago, around of 1.70 million years.

A country I'd like to visit..

One of places I want to know is Botswana, here heritage of humanity "Okavango Delta" where different species are found when the river flow is increased . You can find lions , antelopes , zebras , rhinos , hyenas , giraffes and many more animals!. Also elephants, a beautiful animal I'd love to see in their natural habitat.  

Other, Jamaica . You can enjoy the beautiful Caribbean and many rivers whose attraction this country, besides promising tranquility of its landscape and exotic wildlife.

And finally , India. It has a beautiful old architecture like Taj Mahal and the Golden Temple . A culture rich in ancient religious traditions. A beautiful fauna full of unique animals like birds full of colors , tigers, and what I like most Asian elephants .

Somewhat protective. I'm looking for a protector, but not a guard dog.

I want a dog that's as low maintenance as possible.

I live where it's warm during summer and cold during winter, so he needs to tolerate both warm and cold weather.

My opinion

Today i will talk about differents themes and my opinion about that.

Cellular phones

 

In the last time all the people or majority, use cell phones every day and every moment, because there are enough for all. Cell phone nevertheless is more useful, keep connections with people to large distance and family. But, don’t lose the direct  relationship with the other persons.

Violence on television

Programnation of channels from national signal or tv cable, don’t have control who see the programs  in different schedules. Because i think, we should give priority for all contents and we should give attention for kids and what they see.

Barras bravas

I think the " barras bravas" incite violence, inside and outside stadiums , also harms people who want to enjoy family sport. You can enjoy this entertainment healthy and respecting others.

  

Recycling

I think recycle and help the planet to keep breathing , I think every home families should be recycle so we can avoid some pollution that affects us more each day . 

Legalizing abortion in some cases

I believe abortion should be legal in cases where women have suffered sexual violence or the fetus has trouble surviving , among others cases. Each woman owns her own body, and can decide by herself .

Biography

Silvana Cáceres Cortés was born in Santiago, Chile. At elementary school, she study at Colegio Santa Cecilia, located in Santiago Centro.

In 2013, Silvana decided to study Agronomy, but then she realized that her passion were the animals. So, in 2014 she decided to start studying Veterinary Medicine, which she does until this day.

She loves animals, likes are kinds of music and movies. She also likes to travel, specially if it envolves discovering new places.

Silvana spends her free time taking care of her dogs, Nikita and Miki , and going to the movies with her boyfriend. <3
